International Freestyle wrestling opportunity exists for qualified USA Wrestling-Ohio Freestyle wrestler born 1998 or older. The Russian Wrestling Federation has invited a 6 member delegation from Ohio to participate in the 2016 Mining Glory International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament. This event will be held in Kemerovo, Russia September 22-25 2016 and will feature wrestlers from 20 different Nations.

Wrestling Schedule:

September 22nd 2016 - competitors' arrival;

10:00-16:00 - Mandate Comisson's work;

17:00 - 17:30 - Meeting of judges and the team's representatives;

17:30 - 18:00 - Health control of the participants;

18:00 - 18:30 - Weigh-in and drawing procedures of the participants: 57,65,74,97 kg.

September 23rd 2016

11:00-12:00 - Opening ceremony;

12:00 - 17:00 - Preliminary round in the weight category: 57,65,74,97 kg.

15:00 - 15:30 - Weigh-in and drawing procedures of the participants: 61,70,86,125 kg

18:00 - 19:30 - Finals. awarding the tournament's winners and medalist;

September 24th 2016

10:00-13:00 - Preliminary round in the weight category: 61,70,86,125 kg.

14:00 - 16:00 - Consolation and finals. 

16:00 - 16:30 - Awarding the tournament's winners and medalist;

16:30 - 17:30 - Closing ceremony

September 25th 2016

Sports delegations' departure

8 weight categories will be wrestled 57kg, 61kg, 65kg, 70kg, 74kg, 86kg, 97kg, 125kg. There will be a 2kg weight allowance given.  First, Second, and Third place winners in each weight category will receive medals, diplomas, and valuable prizes. Wrestlers selected for this trip will have International air fare, food and lodging expenses paid for by the tournament organizing committee. Wrestlers will be responsible for any fees required to obtain current U.S. passport or Russian Visa.
